She asked Andy to help her change the bedding. But she got into more trouble. He has two left hands. He took a big sheet for his small bed and a small one for their double bed. Plus he never knows how many big pillows and how many small pillows there are; which is the child's quilt or where to get clean bedding from. He even makes fun of her. She heard him say - You've widened this bed, that's why the sheet isn't big enough. The envelope in the bedroom - she screams from the kitchen, spinning in the stew. Where do you want me to send the duvet, my dear?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
