She talks on and on and on. I LIKE HER, but I'm a pin head in her powdered world. She met him on Tinder, and they set up a date for the evening. You, helpless man? She tenses, but invites me inside. Piaf murmured, the wine is in the glasses, she in underwear. Let's get over with it. Didn't even sat upand she already loses her garter belt on our way to sinning. No, I don't like forcing myself or somebody else. Disgusted, I try to leave. And the ENVELOPE? She asks. It's on the nightstand. I'M LEAVING, bewildered in the night. My holiday is really a sodomy.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
