The gaping mouths annoy me. Wow, wow, wow. You don't get to put the metaphors' shovel into the lexical ground that there are 3-4 of these surprised people that they approach the grave of future corpses of vowels and consonants, and they do their number. Don't get me started on those that, through their whole life, recite the same passage, sprinkled here and there with the blood of other synonyms, and have a swarm of applauders, wimps, and bootlickers with all sorts of praising verbal laxatives, so many that I don't have space to bury them all.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In November 2021, the group has 7.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
