It's our only night. That's how I am, Speedy Gonzales, Speedy Gigi, I don't have the patience, I don't have the condition and I can't resist the temptations. I grew up in a nunnery, the fruit of a novice's sin. They kept my whole childhood hidden in the crypts and sent me away at the age of 14 when the abbess realized that I was sharing the fruits of innocence in the cells. I'm free now. Crazy life, baby. Come on, last kiss, because tomorrow is another day, he said. Then he covered her with a shroud and went out of the cemetery chapel.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
