You told me to tell you about me exes, but I know it is o trap through which you are going to psychoanalyze me. So I'll to tell you in a thousand and one nights about the a thousand and one nightstands I woke up to. I'm going to tell you about how I thirstily put the water or wine glass on them, how a candle burned on the nightstand, about how the linen touched its corner, about how I watched it so I could fall asleep. But most often I'll tell you about the money I left on it or about the POS in its drawer.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
