I am the comfort zone. Before me, the door is always ajar. Everyone wants to get out of my own way. Well, rather than sitting next to a warm sea with a cocktail in front of you, you'd better run through slush and oils after the 69 trolley-bus, hoping it's more than it seems. Rather than massage, you'd better release your energy in conditional-optative in the jammed traffic, I would, you would. Nobody wants comfort. I'll make myself a coffee, kisses. I was about to forget. Sexual references and explicit language.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
