I decided not to drink any more beer. That is, all the beer drunk is deposited on the stomach. And if I look in the mirror, I find that I drank a lot of beer. The holidays and New Year's Eve passed and I managed not to drink beer, I only drank whiskey and wine and a little water. I don't want to rust. But after about two days, my cousin from England came to visit. He only drinks beer so I bought a few boxes to honour him. I also drank a few doses, because the man was not to drink alone. And now I have to start from scratch.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
