I may be a bull, but I burned it like a donkey and evaporated without explanation. I take a year of penance, otherwise I can't forgive myself. In tune with the emotional disaster left behind, I decided to engage in demolition, because what I do turns into dust. Said and done. I concretely integrated into the team, but when I drink i am crying. The boss is called Fane, and the rest of us are Dude. We're tearing down a block in three days, we're masters. New Dude, go to the kiosk for vodka. Now I kiss her feet. She found me sleeping in front of the door.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
