I blocked you on socials because I deserve more. Maybe you're good enough for some girls, well, you're not good enough for me. Maybe they have nothing to blame you for, well, I do. You don't know how to make money, you don't know how to save money. You also claim to be loved. Don't you understand that in life, in order to have, you have to give? All my girlfriends' lovers work in I.T. What do I brag about? What can I tell them? That you are an artist, one hell of a writer? What do I say? What are you doing with your life? Don't be upset, but I have to survive.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2022, the group has 8,050 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
