Well, no, it's not free. I mean, you pay to come in, to be able to pay again when you are in. But maybe the ticket includes the musicians, the acrobats that are invited. No, I'm not coming. They use a tape, with music, something. Then we pay for the set, ornaments, trinkets, every little thing. No, that's the same as last year. So now they're all free, but we still have to pay? Something like that. The entrance, the set, the craftsmen, everything here is paid for, so there is nothing left. Well, yes, but at least the rest. The rest what? The rest is a gift.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2022, the group has 8,050 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
