Mr. lawyer, I want justice. Let there be slaughter, \'cause he deserves it. That son of a bitch, how could he do such a thing to me? What have we come to? So he picks me up from the club, alright? And I'm not even gonna bring up the number of options I had, considering my looks. All men had their eyes glued to my cleavage. And he puts a glass of Manhattan in front of me, a Rolex watch on his wrist. Anyways, leaving out the details, we get to my house, I take my clothes off, I bring him a glass of scotch, he drinks it and, lo and behold! He smiles and leaves. This is unforgivable. Don't you worry, miss, we'll sort it out. We'll put this under Pentecostal harassment.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In June 2022, the group has 8,500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
