She could hear his footsteps on the stairs. She knew he was heading for her, and time seemed to stretch out. Her heart was pounding and she hoped he wouldn't climb into the attic. She was curled up into a ball in the darkness, trying to conceal her breathing. Ready or not, here I come, came his sinister voice, and she started shuddering and her mouth was getting drier and drier. Here you are, said Jo, propping the door open with his bloodstained shoes. The girl started crying and covered her nakedness with one of the plastic bags on the floor. A cry flooded the house.

(In June 2022, the group has 8,500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
