Rarely does anyone come upon someone like myself truly. I put a thousand euros in a safe place, so safe I put it away, that I've been looking for it for three years. Yesterday I told someone congratulations instead of condolences. The words come out of my mouth and they get all mished-mashed. Better that, than sincere condiments, right? I sent a nude to my ex today and I couldn't understand why the current one didn't respond more enthusiastically. They don't even have the same name. Now, while brushing my teeth straight from the clotrimazole tube, I realized that I'm hovering there, in the immediate vicinity of the retard.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In July 2022, the group has 8,750 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
