Shut up, bitch, you don't know what you're talking about. Gigel has no fault and no credit, either. You are, bitch, you are the one who makes up the story in your mind. You, with your shitty ideals and tireless desires, you make all seem real. It's like in Ikea, bitch, you only pay for screws and wooden loops and then you do the work yourself, in your bedroom. And it's your business what it comes out of it. Is that clear? No one would give your money back if you messed up the pieces, right? And it has only been two hours since he called you, right?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
