It's almost 9 o'clock, Love. Let's go, Duckling, let's go. By the way, last time we wasted time in the kitchens, today we are wasting time in the bedrooms. No need to hurry, okay? We are writing dimensions, calculating, reading leaflets, asking how they are assembled, what material they are made of, if they have other colours. You know. At lunch we are having a minced meat roll, so that the time passes easily. It sucks that it is not open at night either, Dove. Little mouse, is there a chance that they realize we're going thereto cool off? No, Candy Cane, but if they realize, we'll move to the others. Praise the Lord, there are dozens of places where we can cool off.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
