Order no. 17 is ready. I would take some leaves from trees in the park and pretend to be cooking. You were really naive, but it's alright, that's how you got where you are now. Do you remember how you used to run around from morning till night with the 30-something children from the neighbourhood? Running is too much said, those were loops around the block because you weren't allowed any further, but it didn't even matter. Alessia, I'm proud of you and I advise you to stay that cheerful kid all your life, always smiling. I love you.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
