I can feel your eyes on my shoulders. I have been wondering if I should text you many times, but I did not manage to gather my thoughts. I will write to you through this text. I will transform it into a paper aeroplane, and I will launch it for you. I would be happy if it landed in your bottom. I would be happy if you struggled to remove it, failing to take it out at once. Your secretary might see you and giggle, she might take a picture which might become viral in the college. Ermmm, I had forgotten what I intended to write. I will say it like this: I know you miss me because of SEEN. Let's say I miss you too, but not like I used to.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
