Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful woman in the land, asked the Queen. And the enchanted mirror answered dryly: Geta. Which Geta, you bitch? Which Geta, the one with silicones, from the third floor, who does videochat. The queen of the apartment building felt the blood rush to her head. Let the apartment building manager come, she holwed hoarsely. Well, dear Vasile, what did we talk? Didn't I say to pour that bitch to ANAF? What whore, lady? The one who show all her stuff on the net. I called but they were still busy with teachers and tutoring lessons.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
