He stuffed the moon and the sun in my bra because he dreamed of a voluptuous woman. He tried to gouge out the eyes of all the demons in Hell. Lest someone stare at my cleavage. They died, one by one, of ocular hemorrhage. Is that what they say? Basically, life was licked on their cheekbones and jaws. Good. He thought about making my hips, curves. He tore a jellyfish in half and glued the gelatinous halves to me with spit. I'm a bored diva in Heaven. He stole my other option when he destroyed the demons. Phew.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
