He was telling me that I have the butt of a Brazilian woman, while I was thinking of Niemeyer. He was telling me he adores how I look when asleep, I was thinking of Gaudi's mask. He was telling me I am his morning-gloryhouse, I was thinking about Mincu. I don't know what else he was telling me, \'cause I woke up; on the table there were the sketches created for a good world, today they were refused. The job on OLX tempted me, I needed a new client. I accepted the project of the hut for pets, already knowing their ways: some are gentle yet dangerous, others - merely dumb.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
