Let's put the clothes back in the wardrobe, please. They have been in the centre of the room for three days and you pass through them skilfully every time you play there. You really don't see them? I will not clean after you anymore, you have to handle it. And wash your hands, we cannot eat in this condition, hands full of glitter and paint, let's wash our hands, please, go now to wash them. Now. I will gather all the clothes from the living room if you wash your hands. Gosh, I really have to beg of you to do every single shit? Is anyone hearing me?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
