I repeat, to make sure I understand correctly: I can't be seen, instead it's ok to throw large or small objects. I can leave signs and clues throughout the rooms or on the street, I can call the ambulance, the firefighters or the police. If I'm in trouble and I see I can't get the job done, I ring the bell. I cannot intervene if instructions come from above (even if I want to). The wings open from here, the aura starts by itself. I only use them in emergencies. Sure, I sign here for confirmation. When can I start?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
