I am a stray cat among concrete pieces. I can't find my mother and I'm hungry. Today I got under an old man's window. Pop started calling me my sweetheart. Now I come under his window every day. He tells me about what he eats, how much rent he pays, what medicine he takes, what movies he watches. He is convinced that I am the reincarnation of his wife who left on a Thursday and has returned to be with him. He has no idea that I come under his window because the neighbor above throws me fresh slices of ham every day.
