Being on the verge of suicide due to major depression, my friend, K, gave me a business card while discreetly winking at me. Show it to them. I did not get it, but I'm looking for the address, At Three Coffins ltd. G'mornin'. I keep quiet and hand over the business card. Ok, it's alright, you have the referral, go to the next room. In the room, three coffins. Let your clothes on the hanger. Would you like a wake with completion or the whole menu? Well, what would it be? Shroud body wraps, Thai mourners, post-mortem massage that brings you back to life. Evo, take care of the gentleman, one last caress.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
