I have to go on a diet. I have a big belly and my man said he can't do it with fat women. Because his snake won't rise to the occasion. I laughed a lot. I know he has a fine sense of smell and can't stand onions and garlic, so I found the perfect method to get my revenge. Every night, I buy fresh leeks, lock myself in the bathroom, and while looking at pictures of my ex, indulge myself with the vegetable that turned out to be just perfect. I make salad with it and serve it to him in the morning and he always asks me what the secret ingredient is, it has a nice flavour.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
