Ninela sold everything. You should know that green tomatoes are the best, because they are crisper, they don't squish easily. But cucumbers also sell like hot cakes. Not to say about zucchini, they sell like wildfire. Ladies buy more, to be exact. Okay, now with this rainbow hustle and bustle I also have a sale on leeks. Men buy lots of them. Well, maybe \'men' is not the best word, since it's freaks and oddballs mostly, but who am I to turn up my nose at their money? Let me tell you something, sir, that these days they put all kinds of stuff in them. And I don't mean in their mouths.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
