Be careful, I found something. What thing? We no longer play with other actors, we only put in monologues. Yes? Yes. Or even better - dialogues between the two of us. Which two of us? Me and you. I mean, me and you? Yes. Do you think people are going to watch this thing? What thing? Well, what did you say about the dialogue between us. Which world? The world. For example, people. Why look? I don't know, I was saying so too. Hear? How will he know there are two of us? Good question. I will wear a fez. Face? Yes, like a sock. Ah. Yes, a sock is good.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
