I like women. Naturally, would you rather like men? Let me finish. I like women THAT BELONG TO OTHER MEN. Lucky you're not married. If you were, I'd be in your wife's pants. That sucks, how did you figure that out? Do you know Angelina, the actress? I used to have a crush on her, but since I found out Brad left her, I've stopped fancying her. Freud says that's an emotional disorder. Tell me, how do I get my wife to like me again? What would Freud say? Nothing, he's been dead for 80 years. I'll tell you, but I think you'll get upset find her a lover.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
