With her left hand she was trying to protect the little one from his punches. She did not even have the force to cry anymore. All her strength was gathered in the hand that was saving her life, as she would be dead without the little one. She caught sight of the tip of a boot aiming at
her face. A loud noise made her look. He was lying in her pooling blood.

(In March 2023, the group has 10,790 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
