I watch over the meadow at the monastery and bring apples for the nun in the kitchen. She's making pie, rolling the dough as if caressing the air, and her body paints waves on the walls. I tell her this, she listens with a bright expression, and her braid contoured neck shakes along with her chuckle. The moment around us stops and melts in her black eyes and white, flour covered palms that push me away and pull me in at the same time, like wings scratching my heated skin in the scent of burnt apples. She scolds me and forgives me once again.

(In March 2023, the group has 10,790 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
