Nice, we got there right from the first time. She liked my red beard. She lay down on the bed and started to rub herself with whipped cream. She covered her nipples with strawberries. In those moments, when the brain is set on one thing, you forget what's more important. After a long foreplay and the second strawberry, my tongue got swollen. I tried not to frighten her, but it was too late, I desperately signaled for the phone. She kept asking me if I had taken Viagra, I was pressing 112 or so I thought, at the other end of the line, the ambulance. Yes, mom. What are you doing?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.500 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
