You say you didn't suspect anything? No, I swear. For how long have you been stalking them with the telescope? For a month, since I\'ve got my leg in plaster. Didn't you see he kept her tied to the radiator? I thought he tied her to the bed, that they have a sex game or something. Didn\'t you see he gave her only bread and water? She seemed to be on a diet. Really nothing got you thinking? Um, there was a moment though. She wrote PLEH on the misty window. And not even then? Noo. I thought Border Collie was an intelligent breed, she would\'ve known to write backwards if something had to be signalled.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In March 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
