When I saw him for the first time, I was smitten. I wanted him here, there, in the fancy coffee house. Oh, what a hunch I had. He then admitted he had a girlfriend three days a week and was looking for one more for another three. I did not take it well. My husband kept cheating on me, so I wish I was at least my lover's only woman. However, this is the more logical option. I was even in luck. We had Sunday all to ourselves. Still, I wonder what he is up to on day 7. Is he resting like the good Good or does he also have a wife?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
