I need this, I can't throw it away. I put it next to the other bags. I'll keep this envelope, maybe it will come in handy someday. A flyer, a bus ticket. The letters I haven't had the chance to send you. I keep anything, I just can't throw them away. Although I don't have room for so many unnecessary things in the house. I'm not trying to keep you. I think I valued you the most when we were together. Is this thought about you? My fondest memories never happened.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In May 2021, the group has 6.400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, setting their texts within the limit of 500 symbols (in Romanian language, so in English the limit might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise with an almost daily changed topic. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
