Love. This man and this amazing man didn't survive for nothing, I tell myself. And there wasn't any other option on this part of the world, anyways. It is what it is, we will fill up the Earth with children who will have green eyes and their mother's sense of humour. Good thing I went to the salon, got my hair done had, also, a wax to be as smooth as silk. There was no chance that the century's event would catch me off guard, without being smooth as a baby. I found it amazing that we could rewrite history just as we pleased. What's your name, buddy? Adam? Too bad, we'll have to start it over again. History repeats itself. Adam and Laura.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2021, the group has 7.275 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
