Forget who they are. She, between seven in the evening and seven in the morning. He, between seven in the morning and seven in the evening. Every day, she wakes up, cooks, cleans, walks him around, reads to him, kisses him on the forehead and they rest, but not before reminding him in a note what they said on their first date. Then, at seven in the evening, he wakes up, cooks dinner, tidies up the house, walks her around, reads to her, kisses her on the forehead and, before she falls asleep, leaves her a note reminding her of what they said on their first date.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
