With my parents, they certainly did a Maradona scheme at the maternity. He got inside, well, they havn' close na that door, and changed me with a cheaper one. My parents has made a smart child, for sure. Cuz they're smart, engineers, knows mathematics, geometry and other spiritual harps. I haven't inherited it. I've been more of a humanities person with Eminescu, Vasile Șeicaru, drosophila melanogaster, those kind of things. So, ladies, and, to say, mademoiselles, listen to me, when you go to give birth, close the door tightly.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
