The last four bag of poofs. Those that are yummy, with nuts. I look at them as if it's God Himself. I'm done, I'm going on carrots starting from Monday. Boson Higgs is not exactly my strength, and I have been 15 for about 30 years. The breasts no longer keep pace with gravity, and the munitions from the equipment are slowly beginning to smell like naphthalene. A preadamic Scheherezada. Who will take me? I can't close the door of the fortune for good. "I'll have to leave at least an inch of hope. Or is it called self-deceit? Oh, miss, you don't have cheese poofs, don't you?

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
