1. You are not my husband and rest assured that I will not look for you in another man as I have done in recent years. 2. If you couldn't be human, maybe your place is at the Zoo. 3. If I ever hear you making a fuss again, you'll get my authorized signature to go where the animals can be housed. It's useless to tell you that if you do not take care of mom, your ex-wife, I will fucking kill you. Goodbye, Dad. You are blocked here, too. It's January 1st and I've already started badly. No negative thoughts in my new home, I said.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
