What are we? Resolutions. What do we want? To change the world. All right, not the world, that little thing on the list would be enough. The annual meeting of the resolutions was held as best as it could. The diaries were full, the signatures were rumbling, and the gym was full of heroes hoping to make up for the lack of motivation of the last days. In the break room, lying on an endless sofa, sat the MR, the Mother-Resolution. The therapy session had started on the same topic as every year.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
