I came to register my car. Here are the sale-purchase documents, the coupon, my driver's license, the ID card, the birth and marriage certificate; high-school diploma and bachelor's degree, all in original and copy. Yes, ma'am, notarized. I also have an application form, completed with a blue pen in 3 copies. And a record from work. I also printed out the green certificate, just in case. File with rail? It seemed like there was no need. And where do I find it? I understand: room 101, in the building across the street.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In January 2022, the group has 7.830 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
