Have you ever been there? No. I don't know what that is, I've never been there, and I don't plan on finding out anytime soon. I have everything I need. My wife inherited them from a relative from Latvia. They say the kitchen is Facktum, the cupboards are Pax, the door handles are Klippan, the beds are Brimnes, and in the hallways I have some Hemnes, closets full of her stuff. Carpets on the floor like everyone else, they are Arnager and Torrild, nothing special. One thing I can tell you, she moved fast, she had only been gone for a day. And all the way to Latvia.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
