In the musty air of that dusty town where I fulfilled my education and career I sometimes pass insomniac nights in which I (re) create. Country air over the fields, 7 kilometres from the train to the village, sending out the call of steaming bread fresh out of the oven in a quivering summer twilight. Hard goat cheese from the barrel, fresh onion, ripe tomato. The hay mattress from the room closes to the road, where it's a little cooler. And then, I fall asleep. Dad's on the porch, smoking. Sanda, we're killing the cockerel tomorrow for our boy.

(In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days.
