Oh Geta, I see you've been enjoying your diet and cycling. Don't be a coquette, because you're sinking our sink and polluting our planet again. When I hear your screaming in the streets, I spin like a weathervane and drink whiskey with a straw. I know you don't love me anymore, but I love you so much. Among us, you are the star. I walk with the, you get on the bike and go, go, go, clutching the saddle between your hands, fending off the dogs. You smile at everyone you divide and some you tear apart, when you set your eyes on them. Woe to the poor women.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In August 2022, the group has 9,000 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
