Two specks of dust, a grain of truth, like any self-respecting myth and like many secrets swept under the rug. Some Paraziții lyrics. For monotony. A clock ticking carpe diem in the corner and your moans of pleasure when you lift up your dress, sit on me and I push you into it. No regrets. I jot it all down on this sharpie written mosaic. You'll die here, old man. Alone and miserable. She's long gone. It was checkmate when your family had you admitted. Au contrair, mon cher. We take only our memories with us.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
