I was born on the 3rd day of a month. I lived on the 3rd floor. Each night, my mom would read the same three stories for me: The three piglets, The goat with three kids, the three brothers. At school, I would always end up on the 3rd place. I got married three times. Each time, I divorced after three years. That's why I named the company like that. Number three followed me my entire life. I understand, the woman told me smiling. Then, you must offer me another orgasm, to make it three, right? To make the trinity whole, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In September 2022, the group has 9,250 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
