Wax figures: here he is a doctor, as father wanted. Here he's a poet as mother wanted. Here he has two children as it is expected. On the left, you can admire his house and the tree planted, on the right he's at the wheel of the perfect car, with a big trunk. Does it look forced to you, does it look too much like in commercials? It's the museum of people born to make others' dream come true, tickets and wings are cut at the entrance. Leave that guitar alone cause it won't bring you anything good, it's our motto. In the back you can see the artist: that ordinary man, not that good, not that bad, who exists.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In April 2021, the group has 5.600 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
