It boggles my mind how you found the nerve to show up here, the image of godliness and fatherly love. All this time you couldn't care less about him, you were too busy taking care of business across the globe, and now you're craving wealth and mansions? There's not a single penny left, everything went on surgeries and the house was given to Matthew. He fabricated letters, handing them over in your name. You are nothing but hawks with greed in your eyes. Father did not raise you this way, he would have wanted you to love him, not flaunt your wealth at his funeral.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In October 2022, the group has 9,400 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes almost daily. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, Răzvan Penescu, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
