This photo camera is no ordinary camera, my son. I received it from your grandfather when I was your age, and now it's time for it to be yours. You can use it to take ordinary pictures like birthdays, pets or landscapes but it also has a very special function. It works best on groups of people. First, select the black and white button, and then this button that looks like a pair of scales. The obtained picture will show you all the people either completely black or white so you know which ones are bad.

Real Fiction is a collective project started in 2013 by Florin Piersic Jr. The concept of Real Fiction continued to exist as a Facebook group, after a volume of stories was published at Humanitas Publishing House. (In February 2021, the group has 4.300 members.) The authors write ultra-short stories, with the texts limited to 500 characters (in Romanian, so the length of the English translation might be a little different) - a flash-fiction exercise on a topic that changes every few days. The group's coordinators are Florin Piersic Jr., Gabriel Molnar, and Luchian Abel. (Drawing by Adrian T. Roman)
