Core memories
The best day of my life started as soon as I got on that red bus. Or so I thought. Everything inside the bus was normal, everything except the chairs. All of them were red, only the very last seat from the back was pitch black. Also, I could tell that on the seats was written in capital letters: "CORE MEMORIES".
My first thought was to sit on the first chair, but as soon as I sat down, dense fog unveiled in front of my eyes. Just as the fog disappeared, I found myself looking at a younger version of me, running around with a lollipop in my hand. The memory soon evaporated and I was back on the bus.
Afterwards I went on to the next seat, and then the next, and then the next. It was me growing up.
But then I arrived at the last seat. The pitchblack one with no writing on it. As I sat down, everything faded. Then I woke up in a hospital, surrounded by doctors, shocked by my awakening.

Cea mai bună zi din viața mea a început imediat ce m-am urcat în acel autobuz roșu. Sau așa credeam eu. Totul în interiorul autobuzului era normal, totul în afară de scaune. Toate erau roșii, doar ultimul scaun din spate era negru. De asemenea, mi-am dat seama că pe scaune era scris cu majuscule: "AMINTIRI ESENȚIALE".
Întâiul meu gând a fost să mă așez pe primul scaun, dar de îndată ce m-am așezat, o ceață densă mi s-a așezat pe ochi. Când ceața a dispărut, m-am trezit uitându-mă la o versiune mai tânără a mea, alergând cu o acadea în mână. Amintirea s-a evaporat repede și m-am întors în autobuz.
După aceea am trecut pe următorul loc, apoi pe următorul, apoi pe următorul. Eram eu în creștere, la vârste diferite.
În cele din urmă am ajuns la ultimul loc. Cel negru, fără nimic scris pe el. Când m-am așezat, totul s-a stins. Apoi m-am trezit într-un spital, înconjurat de medici, șocat de trezirea mea.
